OG&E is seeking a highly skilled Emission Monitoring Engineer to lead and mentor emission monitoring activities at multiple generation sites. The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, advanced instrumentation and control expertise, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and plant operations.

You will supervise maintenance and calibration of emission monitoring systems, provide technical support to I&C teams, and ensure compliance with applicable EPA regulations.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in a technical discipline with 6 years maintaining instrumentation and controls or testing equipment.
• Bachelor's Degree in any field with 4 years maintaining instrumentation and controls or testing equipment.
• 4 years journey level experience in a craft technical/mechanical role.
• 8 years relevant military experience at the journey level or with DD Form 214.

Responsabilidades

• Directs activities of emission monitoring contractors and vendors.
• Mentors and assists with training entry level technicians.
• Performs complex maintenance, configuration and calibration of emission monitoring systems.
• Provides technical support to lead I&C/ICE technicians in emission control schemes.
• Schedules and coordinates daily activities with peer operations personnel; negotiates conflicts.
• Lead role in planning and conducting complex assignments.
• Troubleshoots and programs enhancements to hardware and software vendors.
• Serves as technical resource to operations personnel and lower technicians.
• Troubleshoots and maintains AC/DC control circuits and components.
• Interfaces between testing contractors, plant operations, and regulatory agencies to ensure test plans are followed.
• Displays strong regulatory knowledge for air emission monitoring requirements (40 CFR parts 60, 63, 75).
• All other duties as assigned.
