Job summary

HouseSmart Construction, a Clayton division, seeks an experienced CDL Driver II to pull manufactured homes and mentor the Transportation team. You’ll work hands-on across site prep, assist with scheduling, and master operation of equipment like house tug and platypus.

A coaching attitude and 3+ years of CDL driving are required, with room to grow within a fast‑moving team. Full‑time, Monday–Friday with weekly pay; Clayton benefits apply as part of the HouseSmart family, and you’ll help deliver

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CDL driving experience
• Minimal to no driving infractions, especially DOT inspections
• Experience with scheduling is a plus
• Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs safely
• Positive coaching attitude and willingness to mentor others

Responsibilities

• Lead teams by example in transportation and site prep tasks
• Partner with Transportation team to ensure safe, efficient delivery of homes
• Assist with scheduling transports and ensuring proper staffing per job
• Become proficient with jobsite equipment (house tug, jadde, platypus)
• Anticipate team and project needs and solve problems with supervision
