Shift Available: Full Time: 10 am-8 pm

What is Your Role?

The Catering Lead is responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served to residents and staff during special events. They will work with the Executive Chef/Dining Director to select, plan, and execute food preparation during these events. The Catering Lead ensures the quality and consistency of the finished product, adheres to HACCP protocols, and complies with sanitation, health, and hygiene standards. They are responsible for the proper use of supplies and equipment to minimize waste and loss. A working knowledge of food products, packaging, rotation, and basic cooking skills is required.

We are Seeking:
  • High School Diploma and Culinary Arts training; a Culinary Arts Degree or ACF certification preferred
  • Serv Safe Certification is required
  • Minimum of 3 years related production and supervisory experience in catering/food service, preferably within a continuing care retirement community, hospital, hotel, or restaurant
  • Customer service background and orientation
  • HACCP training preferred
