Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a cashier to join our team. You will assist the manager with daily cash reporting and deposits, and mentor fellow cashiers through coaching and guidance.

You will also greet customers, issue receipts and refunds, and maintain an accurate cash register while upholding high service and sanitation standards. English communication and cash handling training are essential.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Strong mathematic Skills.
• Excellent sanitation habits.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to communicate and attend to guests with the highest standard of service.
• Ability to pass cash handling training.
• Problem sensitivity and the ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in daily cash reporting and preparation of daily deposits.
• Mentor to other cashiers by training, coaching, and assisting them.
• Identify items and determine costs, tabulate bills quickly and accurately.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers accurately.
• Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service.
