Description

Sno Cafe & Deli will be transitioning to a Taco Bar Concept.

Pay Rate: $23.67/hr. (depending on experience)

Shift: Varies

Type: Full Time

Purpose

To provide leadership, direction, and be a role model for other Cashiers and Team Members. Support and communicate clearly and effectively with subordinates, managers, and guests. Ensure a pleasant guest experience by greeting guests with a smile, accurately taking food orders, performing cash handling, and managing refunds on the POS register.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor cashiers through verbal and written communication.
• Communicate with kitchen management and staff.
• Greet guests warmly and welcome them.
• Take orders, suggest items, and communicate orders to POS staff.
• Seek guest feedback and invite them back.
• Maintain an organized and clean outlet environment.
• Address guest questions, complaints, or concerns professionally and promptly.
• Operate POS, handle cash accurately, complete transactions, and make deposits.
• Support floor staff with cleaning, arranging tables, and stocking.
• Assist with expediting food orders if needed.
• Keep management informed about business flow.
• Complete reports accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma / GED or recognized equivalent.
• Guest Service experience.
• At least 1 year of restaurant and cash handling experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Math proficiency.

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Agilysys POS.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required. Marijuana use will disqualify applicants for positions other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
