Position: Lead Cashier (Part-time) at Zoo Atlanta Gift Shops

Join our team at Zoo Atlanta, a renowned cultural and entertainment destination, where we prioritize our Team, Partners, Guests, and the Planet. We are passionate about providing memorable experiences for our guests as they connect with wildlife and enjoy an adventure-filled day.

Responsibilities:

• Master the register system and handle transactions, including returns and price overrides
• Open and close the register properly
• Assist guests in a friendly and engaging manner, demonstrating product features and providing excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Prior retail, cash-handling, and customer service experience
• Ability to work irregular hours, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Enjoy interacting with people of all ages
• Proactive in engaging customers and demonstrating products
• Friendly, positive attitude towards customers, team members, and staff

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands
• Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Ability to lift/move up to 15 pounds regularly
