Job summary

Compass Group, North America is seeking a full-time Lead Cashier for USF Tampa. You will supervise front-end operations, greet guests, and ensure accurate cash handling at the service desk.

The role includes training cashiers, overseeing deposits, returns, discounts, and PoS transactions, while ensuring policy compliance and high guest satisfaction. Monday–Friday schedule with a pay range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Hostess experience strongly preferred.
• Experience handling guest transactions and cash.
• Ability to train and cross-train cashiers.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and provides outstanding service.
• Oversees returns, exchanges, discounts and PoS transactions with cash control.
• Covers cashier shifts and assists with deposits and media.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and loss-prevention efforts.
• Manages front-end supplies and scheduling for cashiers.
