Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead frontline cashiers in our Jasper, GA store. This role focuses on fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service, handling checkout and returns, and enhancing the customer experience at the front end.

You will monitor Self-Checkout, follow policy to minimize shrink, and assist in coaching and training other cashiers and Front End Associates. Prior cashier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink.

Responsibilities

• Process checkout and returns transactions.
• Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
• Provide product information and identify selling opportunities.
• Escalate issues and support front-end staff as needed.
• Assist in training and coaching new cashiers and Front End Associates.
• Support in price checks, POS transactions, and markdowns across registers.
