Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead the front-end team at our Mountain Home store. You will oversee cashier operations, ensure fast, accurate checkouts, and monitor Self-Checkout areas to maintain smooth service for customers.

The role emphasizes coaching and supervising Front End Associates, expediting price checks, and approving POS transactions and markdowns. A minimum of 1+ years of cashier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier requires 1+ years of cashier experience.
• Ability to supervise and coach Front End Associates.
• Knowledge of price checks, markdowns, and POS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process Checkout and Returns transactions.
• Monitor the Self-Checkout area.
• Provide product knowledge and identify selling opportunities.
• Expedite price checks and approve POS transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
• Coach and train new Cashiers.
