Job summary

Wegmans in Sterling, VA is seeking a Front End leader who helps ensure smooth operations and provides the tools and resources needed for exceptional customer service. If you have an outgoing personality and want to apply your leadership skills, this role could be a fit.

You will proactively assist customers, support cashiers, manage store traffic, and help keep lanes open to minimize wait times while upholding Wegmans’ standards for service and teamwork.

Work Environment:

he physical demands of this work are classified as light to medium. Work includes repetitive hand and arm movements, lifting, standing and walking for up to 4 hours without a break, occasional bending, frequent reaching, moving, and lifting, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. May be asked to work at cash register station (see Cashier). The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 12 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds occasionally. You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors with exposure to seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather.
