Job Summary Details:

The Lead Cashier is responsible for managing cash and electronic transactions. Pay is $16.00 per hour.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of prior customer service or similar experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all cashiers to ensure work is completed properly
• Accept accountability for cash transactions
• Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
• Train new associates on Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Count cash drawer with the previous shift lead present to ensure accuracy
• Check in with cashiers at least once an hour for drops and change needs
• Provide customer service and information to patrons, and prepare for the next shift, including money audits, supply checks, and verifying paperwork
• Maintain quality service, customer satisfaction, cleanliness, and a safe work environment
