Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Charleston is seeking dependable technicians to oversee residential and commercial carpet and upholstery cleaning projects. You will lead water, fire, and mold restoration jobs, operate restoration equipment, and document work using our digital management system.

The role requires 2–5 years in restoration, high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to learn and mentor others.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• IICRC water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of commercial/residential restoration experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential and commercial carpet and upholstery cleaning projects.
• Lead and perform water, fire, and mold damage restoration jobs, including demolition, drying, cleaning, and deodorization.
• Operate and maintain restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, extractors).
• Supervise jobsite setup, tear-out, and cleanup activities.
• Document work with digital job management system (photos, readings, logs).
• Communicate with customers and provide updates on job status.
• Train and mentor entry-level technicians on best practices.
