Job summary

Morgan's Constructive Solutions, LLC (DBA Sandia Mountain Solar) seeks a versatile construction worker in Sandia Park, NM. You will read blueprints, measure, cut lumber, frame structures, and install flooring, siding, windows, and trim.

Forty hours per week is standard with occasional overtime; travel throughout New Mexico may be required. A valid driver’s license is required. PTO, holiday pay, and 401K are offered.

• Experience in general construction is required.
• Forty hours per week is standard; overtime may occur.
• Travel throughout the state for out-of-town work.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specs.
• Take measurements and calculate materials needed for projects.
• Cut lumber and other materials according to measurements and plans.
• Build staircases, frame buildings, and other structures from raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Install flooring such as hardwood or tile.
• Install siding, windows, doors and exterior trim.
• Install cabinets, drywall, and insulation.
• Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Comply with safety guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in staff training and meetings as scheduled.
• Follow supervisory/administrative directives and instructions.
