Job summary

United Property Restoration Services, an established restoration general contractor, seeks a Lead Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in rebuilding residential properties after floods, fires, and disasters, and pride ourselves on CARE AT WORK and a strong team culture.

The Lead Carpenter travels locally to support both residential and commercial reconstruction, creates layouts for framing and finishing, and leads job sites with multiple employees while coordinating trade contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of experience in all phases of residential/commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, blueprints, and scopes.
• Effectively communicates with customers, managers, and team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle that can transport tools/materials.
• Strong team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally to support residential and commercial reconstruction.
• Create layouts for framing and finishing all phases of construction projects.
• Lead job sites with multiple employees and oversee trade contractors involved in project work.
