Key Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry work on-site, ensuring quality craftsmanship across all stages of residential projects
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents to guide execution
• Coordinate and supervise other carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors
• Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Install framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and perform various remodeling tasks with precision and efficiency
• Order materials and tools as needed and communicate with suppliers/vendors
• Collaborate with project managers to keep timelines and budgets on track
• Perform quality control checks and punch list work before project completion
• Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to best practices
• Represent Bova Construction Services professionally with clients and vendors
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of carpentry experience, including leadership or foreman roles
• Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and codes
• Proficient in reading blueprints, measuring accurately, and executing custom work
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to work on heights, lifts, and ladders
• OSHA, fall protection, or lift certifications (preferred but not required)
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
