Job summary

ServiceMaster RRH in Rockford, IL seeks an experienced Lead Carpenter for year-round, full-time work on remodeling projects, from patches and painting to complete home rebuilds. You’ll join a busy team delivering quality results and excellent customer service.

The role offers $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, a daily vehicle stipend, six paid holidays, and accrued PTO. Overtime applies beyond 40 hours, with double time after 60 hours; advancement opportunities exist within the growing company.

Qualifications

• Remodeling experience required.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Provide your own tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous restoration experience is a plus.
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs; pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Remodeling and construction work on projects from patch and paint to full home rebuild.
• Work on drywallers, painters, tile, flooring and carpentry tasks.
• Collaborate with superintendents and tradesmen to meet project goals.
• Move and lift heavy materials and maintain site safety.
