Better Homes LLC is seeking a Lead Carpenter to join a small, growth-focused team building high-end remodels and new construction. You will work closely with the owner, lead the crew on site, and help create systems and checklists to scale the business while maintaining craftsmanship.

The role emphasizes leadership, finish carpentry excellence, blueprint reading, and proactive problem-solving within a growing company environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of remodeling/construction experience.
• Real leadership experience—you've run a crew or managed a job site.
• Strong finish carpentry skills (bathrooms, trim, exterior work).
• Ability to read blueprints and plans.
• A proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly and stays organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew on job sites, keeping work moving and quality high.
• Work directly with the owner on high-end remodels and new construction projects.
• Help build internal systems: workflows, checklists, and quality standards.
