Job summary

Hoar is seeking a Carpenter Foreman to work with the Superintendent to plan, organize, perform and oversee carpentry tasks on commercial projects using wood, steel and other materials.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience as a general Carpenter or Foreman, with prior form-work experience. Bilingual Spanish is preferred and a high school diploma or GED is required.

Outdoor site conditions, travel between sites, and safety compliance are part of the daily duties.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a general Carpenter or Foreman on commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience with form work required.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform carpentry tasks to construct, erect, install, or repair structures.
• Supervise and inspect Carpenters for quality and safety requirements.
• Review project plans and specifications to assist in layout and material planning.
• Work with materials such as steel, concrete, wood, plastic, drywall.
• Select and use hand and power tools and materials required for the job.
