Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Carpenter Foreman I to provide direction and supervision to the crew and to be fully competent in forming, erecting, stripping, and repairing steel, wood, or plywood structures per construction documents.

Responsibilities include installing footing forms, building wall/column forms, and coordinating with layout, while maintaining a safe work environment and participating in trainings and certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of related experience and/or training, including reading and interpreting construction documents.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Background check required.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction to the assigned crew.
• Installs footing forms.
• Builds and installs wall and column forms.
• Builds and installs structural deck forms.
• Sets slab-on-grade forms.
• Preps and sets tilt-up/precast forms.
• Works with building layout.
• Ensures a safe work environment.
• Participates in training/certifications.
