Rockford is seeking an experienced Trades Foreman to lead and support our Carpentry team on site in Grand Rapids, MI. You will oversee daily self-perform operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and report progress to project leadership.

The role requires hands-on construction expertise, strong communication, and proficiency with project management tools, including Procore, with a focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years experience as a carpenter or similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret building codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Schedule subcontractors and team members to ensure timely completion.
• Read blueprints and verify work meets building codes.
• Oversee day-to-day self-perform carpentry operations.
• Monitor safety, quality, and progress; communicate with management.
• Manage materials, manpower, and tool requirements.
