Key Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry crews on-site, coordinating work schedules and project flow
• Train, mentor, and support junior carpenters and apprentices
• Interpret and execute from blueprints and technical plans
• Perform hands-on carpentry: framing, finish work, cabinetry, window and door installations
• Maintain quality control through inspections and in-the-moment corrections
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and subcontractors
• Troubleshoot construction issues and implement efficient solutions
• Ensure all work complies with safety and building regulations

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of carpentry experience in a leadership/foreman role
• Deep understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Proficiency in reading and applying blueprints and construction drawings
• Experience with software; Contractor Foreman
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal abilities
• Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Bi-weekly pay cycle
• Overtime potential
• Paid time off (holidays, vacation, sick days)
• All safety gear provided (helmets, gloves, etc.)

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekend availability depending on project needs
• Flexible hours and family-first culture

Work Location

• Alameda, CA and surrounding areas
