Job summary

BluSky Restoration Contractors is seeking a Lead Carpenter to supervise a crew and perform skilled carpentry across residential and commercial restoration projects. The role requires experience with demolition, trim, cabinets, painting, and basic electrical/plumbing tasks, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

The candidate should be capable of reading instructions, communicating effectively, and traveling to out-of-town sites as needed.

Qualifications

3-5 years' experience as a skilled carpenter.
Knowledge of carpentry and use of carpentry hand and power tools.
Self-motivated and able to work in confined areas (crawl spaces).
Understand and follow oral and written instructions; communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
Possess a valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters and laborers.
Delegate tasks and coordinate daily work activities.
Maintain quality control and enforce safety standards.
Serve as the main contact between site workers and project managers.
Troubleshoot issues and make on-the-job decisions.
Perform general carpentry for residential and commercial projects.
Assist with demolition, tile work, hanging cabinets, trim carpentry, and painting.
