Qualifications

Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.
Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.

Responsabilités

Measures, marks, and arranges materials to layout per blueprints or supervisor instructions.
Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
Uses hand and power tools to build assigned projects securely.
Joins materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesive as appropriate.
Checks accuracy using levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares and corrects issues as needed.
Creates wooden forms for pouring concrete or tunnels, bridges, or sewer construction projects.
Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
