We are best known for our finish work, cabinetry, and creative approach to building beautiful, high-quality homes.

We build whatever our clients dream or imagine. From entire homes to the finishing touches of furniture, cabinetry, custom stairways, sculptures and more. We seek a highly skilled and experienced custom cabinet maker with a passion for continuous growth and interest in learning new skills to lead our custom cabinetry production and installation efforts .

Primary responsibilities include:

Artisan custom cabinetry: Building and installing custom cabinetry, furniture, trim, finish carpentry and related hardware (hinges, handles, etc.) according to dimensions specified in plans and blueprints. Matching materials and grains to create uniform appearance for matching units. Reinforcing joints to ensure sturdiness and durability without compromising aesthetics or function.

Estimating: Assess custom cabinetry project needs, materials, and labor to determine related budgets.

Leadership / Quality Assurance: Directing and teaching other carpenters and field crew members assisting with cabinetry projects. Holding everyone to the highest quality standards.

Material stewardship: Being exact in measurements and markings to ensure all materials are used efficiently and project budgets are honored.

Shop machine and tool maintenance: Monitor condition of cabinetry shop tools and equipment. Ensure blades are regularly sharpened or replaced as needed, dust collection systems are emptied and maintained, tools kept in good repair, and work areas are cleaned and organized on a daily basis.

Safety: Understand and ensure team compliance with OSHA safety standards.

Every job we do is different, and when cabinetry production / installation is not a priority for active projects, secondary responsibilities can include:

Site preparation: Clearing and preparing job sites by removing debris, trees, structures, and other obstructions

Safety: Setting up safety barriers / fencing, signage, harnesses, and temporary structures like scaffolding

Physical labor: Digging trenches, mixing concrete, and erecting scaffolds

Equipment operation: Safely operating power tools and basic construction equipment like jackhammers, compactors, and small earthmovers

Material handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials

Construction labor: Assisting other skilled tradespeople like carpenters, masons, and electricians

Other tasks: Pouring and forming concrete, drilling holes, painting, caulking, landscape maintenance

Qualifications:

-Minimum 3 years experience building, finishing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry

-Basic math skills to perform calculations while measuring on job sites

-Mechanical skills to use any necessary heavy machinery and equipment

-Ability to perform heavy labor, such as moving materials

-Physical stamina to handle the long hours of performing strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather

-Strong teamwork and communication skills

-Ability to read or understand instructions and blueprints

-Understanding of building codes, safety protocols and OSHA standards

-Valid drivers license and personal vehicle strongly preferred

Pay is based on experience. Full-time benefits include PTO, 401k matching, last Friday of each month is a paid wellness day.
