Job summary

Hill Top Craftsmen LLC in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to lead crews on residential projects, including framing, additions, remodels, and other carpentry work. You will work hands-on with your team, oversee daily activities, and ensure safety, quality, and timeliness on each project.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on residential construction, strong carpentry and framing background, and demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on residential construction experience with carpentry/framing background.
• Experience leading crews as Lead Carpenter, Crew Lead, Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate plans into field execution.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with construction tech such as Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Procore or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set pace for productivity and craftsmanship while working alongside the team.

Hill Top Craftsmen is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who takes pride in producing exceptional work while leading a crew in the field. If you're an accomplished carpenter with strong framing experience and enjoy mentoring others while staying hands-on, we'd love to meet you.

This isn't a management role where you spend the day behind a desk. You'll work alongside your crew, oversee daily construction activities, and help ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.

What You'll Do

As our Lead Carpenter, you'll:

• Lead crews on residential construction projects, including framing, additions, remodels, and other carpentry work.
