Job summary

Innate AEC LLC is seeking a Lead Carpenter in Seattle to oversee the fabrication of custom cabinetry, millwork, and finish carpentry from start to finish. You will read plans, manage shop workflow, and coordinate materials and timelines for timely project delivery.

You will work both in the shop and at installations, mentoring junior carpenters and ensuring craftsmanship meets Innate's standards. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

About This Role

As Lead Carpenter at Innate, you will lead the fabrication of custom cabinetry, millwork, and finish carpentry projects from start to finish. You will read and interpret architectural plans, manage shop workflow, coordinate with project managers on material needs and timelines, and ensure every piece meets Innate's quality standards. You'll work both in the shop and on-site for installations, mentoring junior carpenters along the way.

Requirements

Proven experience building custom cabinetry and millwork. Confidence operating shop machinery (table saw, jointer, planer, CNC router). Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and shop drawings. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Experience mentoring or leading a small team is a plus.
