Job summary

McKenzie Craft in Miami is seeking a Lead Carpenter who can interpret shop drawings and lead advanced work to produce cabinetry, furniture, and architectural millwork at a luxury standard.

You will fabricate and install across solid wood, solid surface, plastics, acrylics, aluminum, and brass, while hitting hourly production targets and maintaining our quality bar. Reports to Production Foreman.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and accurate measurements.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install cabinetry, furniture, fixtures, and architectural millwork.
• Work across solid wood, solid surface, plastics, acrylics, aluminum, and brass.
• Hit hourly production targets while maintaining quality.
• Operate shop tools safely and effectively.
• Keep tools, station, and workspace organized.

McKenzie Craft fabricates custom millwork out of our 25,000 sq ft shop in Miami. We are looking for a Lead Carpenter who can interpret shop drawings, run advanced work, and produce cabinetry, furniture, and architectural elements at a luxury standard.

What you will do

• Fabricate and install cabinetry, furniture, fixtures, and architectural millwork
• Work fluently across solid wood, solid surface, plastics, acrylics, aluminum, and brass
• Hit hourly production targets while holding our quality bar
• Operate shop tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Keep tools, station, and workspace tight and ready

• High school diploma or equivalent

Hourly, non-exempt. Reports to the Production Foreman.
