Classic Remodeling NW Inc. is seeking a Lead Carpenter to supervise job sites, perform carpentry tasks, and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely, on-budget project completion. The role emphasizes safety, site cleanliness, and accurate paperwork.
The candidate should have five or more years of related experience, strong communication, and familiarity with BuilderTrend software. Responsibilities include scheduling inspections and maintaining project records on-site.
The lead carpenter is completely responsible for the successful completion of their assigned project. This includes bring the project in on time, on budget, and maintaining a high level of quality.
Directly supervises 1-4 employees in the Production. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw/interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of BuilderTrend Internet software and BuilderTrend Spreadsheet software.
