Job description

New Horizons RV is a custom RV builder located in Junction City, Kansas. The Lead Carpenter’s role will be working on the production line and/or cabinet shop. Ability to read a tape measure is a must, knowledge and proper use of tools is essential. The Lead Carpenter should have a vast knowledge of residential remodeling or home construction/repair. They will be expected to help in training and tutoring carpenter assistants. The Lead Carpenter will take pride in doing their work right the first time and keep New Horizon’s reputation as the highest quality 5th wheel in the world. Tasks related to the job will be discussed at time of interview.

Responsibilities

Installing cabinets, windows, valances, trim, interior cabinet and passage doors, etc.

Qualifications
  • Must know how to read a tape measure
  • Detail oriented
  • Punctual with good attendance record
  • Be efficient in the use and safety of power tools, e.g., table saw, miter saw
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
