Job summary

Sevita is seeking a leader to supervise Life Skills Trainers in residential and community settings. You will deliver direct services to program participants, support skill development, and ensure program fidelity to Individual Plans, while coordinating with staff and supervisors.

The role requires travel as needed and adherence to company policies; CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years’ experience in human services preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if transportation is provided.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in client training to achieve objectives and company goals.
• Participates in community outings and house orientation; serve as role model to staff and ensure timely documentation.
• Replaces, reassigns, or cancels staffing assignments as needed.
• Facilitates staff supervision and initiates corrective actions as required.
• Coordinates and completes incident reports for incidents during shifts and outings.
• Assumes leadership during intervention, treatment, and crisis prevention as needed.
• Completes mandatory training; attends refresher courses before certification expiry.
• Assists with staffing needs and staff recruitment.
• Reviews client progress and coordinates shift objectives with supervisor.
• Delivers services such as skills training, job coaching, and behavior management per IP/treatment plan.
• Provides coaching to LSTs to meet therapeutic goals in a respectful manner.
• Ensures adherence to policies and external regulatory standards.
