Our vibrant senior living community, Crystal Terrace Senior Living, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our team of Senior Living Warriors! In this leadership role, you’ll support and guide our caregiving team, ensure high-quality resident care, and help foster a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who calls our community home. Job Summary

The Senior/Lead Caregiver provides high-level assistance to residents with Daily Living Activities, maintaining dignity and respect, and ensuring quality care in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Responsibilities include training new staff, responding to resident needs promptly, following care plans, assisting with daily activities, documenting information, and supporting safety and wellbeing.

Essential Job Duties
  1. Train and guide Caregivers, lead, assign, review work, and mentor staff (20%)
  2. Respond promptly and kindly to resident needs, respecting their dignity and safety (30%)
  3. Follow care plans to ensure proper care (15%)
  4. Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, activities, and toileting (10%)
  5. Chart and document resident information and communicate changes (5%)
  6. Assist with mealtime activities and transportation (6%)
  7. Respond to emergency alerts and resident requests (3%)
  8. Lead and encourage residents in activities (3%)
  9. Perform safety checks and manage oxygen equipment (4%)
  10. Ensure resident safety and comfort, participate in safety drills (2%)
  11. Encourage participation in daily chores and activities (1%)
  12. Perform laundry and other community duties as needed (1%)
Minimum Requirements
  • At least five years of caregiving experience
  • Age 18 or over, or proper work authorization
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current first aid certification
  • Background clearance and health screening including TB test
  • Proficiency in English and ability to follow instructions
Preferred Requirements
  • Nurses Aid certification (preferred)
Physical Demands
  • Mobility to perform physical tasks, lift up to 40 pounds, push 150 pounds, and perform bending and reaching activities
Schedule

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 36 hours/week, 6:00am-6:00pm shifts. Pay DOE.
