Job summary

Right at Home Kingwood is seeking a Lead Caregiver to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. You will lead new care starts, manage shifting weekly schedules and cross-train with a variety of clients using diverse skills.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of PCA experience, and excellent English communication. A compassionate, professional, and adaptable attitude is essential, with reliable transportation to residences.

Qualifications

• High school degree and/or a GED certificate.
• Three years experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA).
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Reliable transportation to/from clients wherever they call home.

Responsibilities

• Lead Caregivers assist with all new care starts and schedule varies week to week.
• Cross-train with a variety of clients and use different skill sets.
• Communicate effectively with people at all levels; maintain a compassionate, professional demeanor.
