Are you an experienced, exceptional caregiver that loves the on-the-go fill-in shifts? Are you looking to take that next step in your career?

If so, the Lead Caregiver position at Home Helpers Home Care may be just what you're looking for!

As a Lead Caregiver, you will get the opportunity to work with different clients throughout the day or week. You will be the on-call Lead Caregiver that Home Helpers depends on to head to those last-minute call-offs. You will be relied upon to be the go-to caregiver to start service with new clients.

Shifts may include a couple of hours to 12 hours, daytime or overnights. Must be able to walk into any situation confidently and work with clients that may have pets in their home. It is pertinent that a Lead Caregiver is dispatched to the clients in under 1 hour.

Must be confident in identifying clients' needs and recommending improvements to their care plan, and explaining a client's care plan to other caregivers while they shadow you with clients.

Responsibilities (will vary by client):

1. Identify clients' needs and make recommendations for care plan updates
2. Introduce and shadow caregivers with clients
3. On call for last-minute call-offs
4. Light housekeeping
5. Meal preparation
6. Transportation
7. Companionship
8. Personal care (bathing, toileting, transferring, dressing, grooming, ambulation)
9. Follow a plan of care
10. Communicate professionally with families and your team
11. In-office computer / paperwork
12. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment
2. Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
3. Clean driving record
4. 3+ years of Home Care Experience (required)
5. 1 year of experience building or improving care plans (preferred)
6. Access to email and a mobile smart device
7. Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care
