JOB SUMMARY: Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services, housing support services, and coordinated care management through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. The agency primarily focuses on providing care to low-income, high-needs, at-risk children, youth, families, and adults.

Under the support of the Director of Managed Care Programs, this supervisory role oversees daily programming activities and provides direct supervision to Lead Care Managers (LCMs). The LCM Supervisor works directly with staff to implement program practices aligned with organizational policies, managed care contracts, and the agency’s treatment philosophy. The role requires knowledge of care policies, procedures, and regulations, supervisory techniques, and personnel policies. The employee works within general methods and guidelines and exercises sound judgment to adapt and apply these to specific situations. The LCM Supervisor may also perform direct service tasks as needed.

Starting Pay Range: $29 - $33 per hour, based on experience and education.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a related field; project leadership experience is also relevant.
• Experience working with populations such as children, youth, and adults experiencing homelessness, frequent hospital or emergency room utilization, serious mental health or substance use issues, involvement in child welfare, or pregnant/postpartum individuals.
• Knowledge of Whole Person Care approach, integrating physical health, mental health, and substance use.
• Maintains required licenses and certifications.
• Valid California Driver License with an acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.

Skills and Experience:

• Record keeping and report preparation.
• Emergency evaluation and management.
• Crisis response and emotional/behavioral problem recognition.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Knowledge of departmental procedures, group dynamics, behavior patterns impacting health, supervisory techniques, and employee policies.
• Participation in in-service training is required.
