Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN invites an experienced Radiologic Technologist specialized in Echocardiography to join our Imaging Department. This full-time day-shift role supports complex diagnostic imaging, patient care, and collaboration with radiologists.

You’ll perform ultrasound studies, ensure image quality and safety, and contribute to a compassionate patient experience in a faith-based health system with strong growth and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Credentials in cardiac/vascular sonography or radiography from ARDMS/ARRT/CCI required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic imaging studies by maneuvering transducers and selecting parameters.
• Identify pathologies and anatomical structures in real time for high‑quality data.
• Guide patients through exams with clear communication and compassionate care.
• Validate image quality and patient history in PACS to support rapid clinical decisions.
• Maintain safety and QA standards ensuring regulatory compliance.
