Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a Lead Captain in Bozeman, MT. This full-time role requires acting as PIC or SIC, ensuring flight and maintenance schedules compliance, and coordinating crew schedules and training with the DOM and ACM.

The Lead Captain will manage crew performance, review billing, and maintain strong relationships with owners and internal teams. The position requires a DA-900 type rating, First Class Medical, ATP, and FAA Part 91/135 knowledge, with a 200-hour annual estimate and

Qualifications

DA-900 type rating is required.
First Class Medical is required.
ATP certificate is required.
FAA Part 91/135 knowledge applies to the aircraft type assigned.
Driver's license and passport are required.

Responsibilities

Act as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) as designated.
Ensure compliance with flight and maintenance schedules and directives.
Coordinate with DOM & ACM to ensure aircraft is cleaned as necessary.
Manage aircraft inventory to meet owner or user requirements.
Monitor crew performance and communicate with ACP on annual reviews.
Review monthly billing summaries and report discrepancies to accounting and ACM.
Coordinate crew days off and vacation requests and liaise with ACM for owner approval.
