The University of Miami invites applications for a Full Time Lead Research Analyst in the UHealth campus. The role analyzes and interprets data from multiple databases, applying advanced statistical methods to inform studies and decisions.

You will develop and maintain datasets, prepare results for progress reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts, and present findings to investigators. You will collaborate with researchers and stakeholders, provide statistical consulting, and help ensure data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with statistical software packages (SAS, SPSS and R).
• Experience with data management and organizing large data files.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data from multiple datasets using advanced statistical methods.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor organization of individual-level data and documentation.
• Prepare results for progress reports, presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
• Present statistical analyses to study investigators and collaborators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on planning; provide statistical consultation to project staff.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safeguard university assets.
