Job summary

Tessera is seeking a skilled CADD Operator III for Fort Stewart, GA. This full-time, non-exempt position involves developing and revising engineering drawings, creating CADD files, and supporting installation projects with GIS and CAD tools.

Qualified applicants should have 8+ years in CADD drafting, an associate degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and MS Office. Requires coordination with engineers and architects.

Qualifications

8+ progressively responsible CADD drafting experience.
Associate degree in CADD, Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, GIS, or related field.
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS applications, and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of engineering drafting standards and construction documentation.
Ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and customers.

Responsibilities

Plan, layout, draw, revise's part, assembly, and installation drawings from basic layouts and discussions with engineers.
Utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or manual tools.
Prepare production detail drawings and complete major layouts of engineering drawings.
Prepare CADD drawings for construction from sketches provided by Architects and Engineers.
Create custom maps using GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Adobe Pro for installation support.
Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, and Designers to verify work product quality.
