Job summary

Metromont Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Drafter to lead drafting activities for complex projects. You will design and prepare CAD erection drawings, shop tickets, and material requisitions from contract drawings and calculations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.

The role requires collaboration with engineers, architects, and project management, with supervision of 8–10 drafters and coordination across departments. Office-based with standard hours, flexibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and produce CAD drawings from data.
• Create detailed electronic drafting plans from sketches and specs.
• Experience with architectural/engineering drawing standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project drafters and provide direction.
• Design and prepare CAD erection drawings, shop tickets, and material requisitions.
• Interface with engineers and managers to resolve questions.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections and material requirements from drawings.
