Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions' NASA Stennis project seeks a Drafting Supervisor to lead the Engineering Services team. You will review drafters, modelers, designers and ensure compliance with standards while providing CAD support.

The role requires an associate degree in drafting with 10–12 years' relevant experience, 3–8 years of leadership, U.S. citizenship, and strong communication. You will mentor staff and manage complex drafting projects across AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Creo Parametric.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree in drafting or a technical discipline and 10–12 years of relevant experience.
• 3–8 years of relevant leadership experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain NASA badge.
• Must communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and review the work of drafters, modelers, and designers on projects.
• Manage performance requirements and deliverable standards.
• Coordinate CAD systems with Industry and SSC Drafting Standards.
• Establish deadlines, monitor budget and schedule, and determine needed resources.
• Communicate with the customer on scope and ensure drawings capture requested work.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate large, complex drafting projects.
