• OSHA 10/30 and BICSI certification is a plus.

Overview

We are hiring a Lead Low Voltage Structured Cabling Technician to manage and perform structured cabling installs in data centers nationwide. This is a travel-based role (100%).

If you have experience in structured cabling, data centers, and leadership, this is your opportunity to take charge of high-impact projects across the country.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured cabling installations: Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optics
• Supervise small teams or subcontractors on-site
• Read and follow blueprints and project specs
• Terminate, test, label, and certify fiber and copper cabling
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot installation issues
• Communicate with project managers and site contacts
• Ensure adherence to safety and industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI)
• Travel extensively to job sites across the U.S.

Requirements

• 5+ years low voltage cabling experience (structured cabling/data centers)
• 2+ years of crew lead or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic and copper systems
• Skilled in cable pulling, terminations, testing, and labeling
• Experience with Fluke or similar testers
• Valid Driver’s License and clean background
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in active construction/data center sites
• OSHA 10/30 and BICSI certification is a plus
