Qualifications

• Must have extensive hands-on experience as a Lead Cable Technician.
• Experience leading or managing a team is required.
• Extensive rack install experience and wiring know-how.
• Positive, go-getter attitude is essential.
• Some exposure to cable/telecom/ethernet field is required.
• Willing to assist site lead with various tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and transport equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various cabling infrastructure.
• Pull, route, and terminate cables (coaxial, Ethernet, fiber optic).
• Perform site surveys to determine installation routes and methods.
• Terminate RJ45 via CAT5E/6 per industry standards.
• Ensure cables are neatly routed, dressed, and bundled.
• Install cabling support components (j-hooks, racks, innerduct).
• Install IT equipment (routers, switches, cameras, wireless).
• Test installed cable systems and devices to ensure operation.
• Troubleshoot cabling issues as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during installations.
