Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Installation Team Lead to head finish carpentry projects across northern New Jersey. If you have 10+ years of hands-on experience, your own tools, and a passion for flawless cabinet installations, this leadership role offers steady work with an award-winning team.

You will direct on-site crews, install cabinetry, refacing, and trim with meticulous workmanship while protecting client homes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on finish carpentry or cabinetry installation.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to work with homeowners in their homes.
• Pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct the installation team on-site as foreman.
• Install cabinetry, modify cabinet boxes, and perform veneer refacing as needed.
• Install trim, crown molding, toe kicks, and ensure precise alignment of hinges and drawers.
• Report daily progress, material needs, and site conditions to the Project Manager.
• Maintain a clean, protected worksite and uphold high standards of daily cleanup and professionalism.
• Interact with homeowners to provide updates and address adjustments with a solutions-oriented mindset.
