Job summary

Stanford Black Limited is seeking a senior engineer to own Smart Order Routing, Matching Engines, Market Access and real-time risk for global equities and options trading. Build ultra-low-latency C++ trading systems and engineer highly concurrent, multi-threaded code on Linux.

You will optimize TCP/IP and kernel-level paths, improve market data and exchange connectivity, and own design, development, testing and production delivery with latency and throughput goals.

Qualifications

Strong commercial C++ experience.
Experience building low or ultra-low latency systems.
Deep knowledge of multithreading and concurrency.
Strong Linux/Unix knowledge.
Experience with TCP/IP network programming.
Exposure to market data, OMS or electronic trading infrastructure.
Experience across equities, futures or options would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Build and optimise ultra-low-latency C++ trading systems.
Develop Smart Order Routers, Matching Engines and Market Access infrastructure.
Engineer highly concurrent, multi-threaded systems.
Work across C++, Linux, TCP/IP and kernel-level optimisation.
Improve market data, order management and exchange connectivity systems.
Own design, development, testing and production delivery.
Benchmark and tune systems for latency, throughput and reliability.
