The Lead Business Systems Analyst performs advanced business and systems analysis for complex enterprise applications. This role provides senior-level expertise across requirements gathering and solution validation. It guides business stakeholders and technical teams through the full analysis lifecycle, ensuring that technology solutions align with organizational needs, strategic goals, and operational standards.
Lead requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, documentation analysis, and observation.
Prepare and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Facilitate alignment and sign-o of requirements, scope, and solution design among stakeholders.
Diagnose and resolve issues in workflows, application behavior, and operational procedures.
Lead or participate in testing phases—including scenario development, validation, and user acceptance testing.
Contribute to process improvement and identifying workflow gaps and optimizing business-system interactions.
Expertise in business requirements development, systems analysis, and process mapping.
Ability to analyze complex work procedures, data structures, and system interactions, and strong problem-solving ability with experience
supporting enterprise applications and integrations.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Progressive experience in business systems analysis or enterprise system implementation (typically 5+ years for senior roles).
Certifications preferred: PMP, ITIL, CBAP, SCRUM, or similar.
Experience with ERP systems, enterprise software portfolios, or large-scale integration projects.
