Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data analytics professional in Connecticut to lead scoping of workstreams, transform datasets, and build predictive models. You will deliver dashboards and reports that translate insights into actionable business strategies.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Tableau or Power BI; experience with Alteryx, Python, or R is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years of related business experience, or 8+ years combined education/experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
• Preferred: Alteryx, Python, and R to enhance data workflows and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Consults with stakeholders to lead workstream scoping and prioritization through problem statement-oriented discovery and solutioning
• Transforms and maintains datasets for practical, scalable application
• Builds sophisticated statistical modeling to identify trends, evaluate causality and forecast results with viable outcomes
• Synthesizes results into succinct, easily digestible deliverables
• Delivers professional data products (e.g., dashboards, reports, documentation) with prescriptive, actionable insights
• Leverages automation tools to streamline data ingestion and outputs
• Leads continuous improvement of existing processes to refine, synthesize, and standardize workstreams
• Maintains documentation outlining key projects and processes
• Advocates for resource prioritization according to strategic demand and business value

Requirements
