Job summary

Mi-Case, a leader in offender management software, seeks a Business Analyst Team Lead in the Phoenix area. You will guide a team of analysts, translate business needs into actionable plans, and ensure high-value project delivery across business units and tech teams.

You will mentor analysts, drive requirements gathering, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while coordinating with project managers on scope, timeline, and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 5+ years of BA experience.
• Proficiency in BA methodologies, tools, and documentation techniques.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to present to stakeholders.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and agile development processes.
• PM knowledge and experience is advantageous.
• BA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of business analysts with mentorship and guidance.
• Demo application functionality to clients and prospects.
• Develop and implement a long-term BA strategy aligned with goals.
• Allocate team resources to balance workload and expertise.
• Document complex processes, requirements, wireframes, and specs.
• Oversee quality of analyses and deliverables to meet requirements.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and act as a point of contact.
• Collaborate with project managers and department leads for project execution.
• Identify and implement process improvements within BA function.
• Assist in change management, communicating impacts and benefits.
• Address escalations related to business analysis.
