Job summary

Transamerica Corporation is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to coordinate testing and system changes across departments. This hybrid role requires collaboration with client teams, defining test conditions, and leading project activities.

You will mentor teammates and drive solutions with strong decision-making and communication skills. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in testing/systems, a solid grasp of operational procedures, and a background in IT or programming.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of testing and/or systems experience.
• Thorough understanding of operational procedures and systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• SAFe Agile experience is preferred; programming/IT background helpful.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
• Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
• Works with client personnel to identify required changes.
• Defines and refines test conditions.
• Communicates needed changes to development team.
• Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively; may assign and review tasks.
• May lead team and client meetings.
• Communicates with clients to identify needs and evaluates alternative solutions.
• Solves complex problems with initiative and independent judgment.

Attained subject matter expertise in quality assurance testing methods and company products.
