Nu in Miami is seeking a data analytics leader to turn complex signals into strategic decisions. You will own core metrics, build AI-enabled analytics workflows, and partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to assess regulatory impact.

ORA (Operational Risk Affairs) is the team that keeps the company's operational risk landscape visible, monitored, and under control across credit, regulatory, and transactional domains. Our BAs don't just monitor their own domains end-to-end: from KRI design to risk narrative to independent representation in ORA leadership forums. About the Role

• Solve Ambiguous Problems: Lead deep-dive analyses on complex business questions, synthesizing unstructured data into clear, executive-ready recommendations.

• Analyze Market & Onchain Trends: Evaluate blockchain transactions, liquidity, token activity, and market shifts to uncover consumer behavior insights.

• Run impactful projects: 2-3 initiatives with ambiguous objectives and scope to be tackled with Engineering, Product, Controllership and BCOs (Business Control Officers).

• Raise the bar on KRIs and controls: thresholds, signal logic, data quality and services interactions, all reviewed and connected to impact to accelerate to leadership

• Own Core Metrics & Dashboards: Serve as the single point of ownership for key metrics and maintain executive dashboards.

• Shape how we use AI — build shared prompts, skills, automated routines or bots to make us faster without making us less right or critical.

• Build Financial & Strategic Models: Create quantitative models, scenario analyses, and market sizing to evaluate new product features and international growth.

• Develop Clean Data Pipelines: Write efficient SQL and Python code to extract, transform, and structure complex datasets, establishing reliable ETL workflows.

• Leverage AI & Modern Tooling: Responsibly integrate AI copilots and automated workflows into daily analytics to increase speed and decision quality.

• Align Cross-Functional Partners: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to assess the commercial and operational impact of regulatory updates and business strategy.

What We're Looking For

• Analytical Capacity & Rigor: Strong foundation in quantitative analysis, probability, statistical modeling, and financial mechanics applied to complex business problems.

• Experimentation & Causal Inference: Hands-on experience designing controlled A/B tests, measuring statistical significance, and establishing guardrail metrics.

• Technical & Tooling Proficiency: Advanced SQL and Python skills for data extraction, manipulation, and pipeline development.

• Product & Strategic Thinking: Experience working alongside product managers and engineers in an iterative, fast-paced product development environment.

Executive Communication: Proven ability to translate complex quantitative findings into concise, compelling data stories that influence stakeholders.
