Job summary

Arrow Stage Lines is seeking a Lead Motorcoach Detailer in Omaha, NE. The role oversees cleaning and detailing of our fleet, ensuring high standards are met while working with the Cleaning Manager. You will supervise the team, coordinate tasks, and maintain equipment to keep coaches in pristine condition for client trips and events.

The position is full-time with shifts typically 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., five days a week.

Qualifications

• One year of cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs and work on feet for long periods.
• Ability to operate a power washer and handle cleaning chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the cleaning team to meet company standards.
• Wash exterior of vehicles using power sprayers.
• Clean interiors including overhead luggage bins, seats and panels.
• Clean all windows and window frames.
• Sweep and mop floors; prepare vehicles for inspection.
• Perform final inspections to ensure thorough cleaning.
• Train and mentor new detailing team members.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to management.
• Ensure safety protocols and company policies are followed.

Arrow Stage Lines is looking for a Lead Motorcoach Detailer for our Omaha location. The ideal candidate must be self‑motivated, able to work independently, and perform efficiently and effectively with minimum supervision and direction. The Lead Motorcoach Detailer will work with the Cleaning Manager in being responsible for overseeing the cleaning and detailing of our fleet while ensuring high standards are met.

This is a full‑time position working five days a week. The typical shift runs from 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., but hours may vary based on workload, and some shifts may start earlier or run later.

Pay starts is $24.25 per hour!

Duties include:

• Oversee and direct the cleaning team to ensure all company vehicles are detailed to company standards.
• Use power sprayers to wash exterior of vehicle.
• Clean the interior of vehicles, to include overhead luggage bins, seats, kick panels, footrests, and lavatory area.
• Cleanall windows and window frames.
• Sweepand mopfloors of vehicle.
• Clean Driver compartment area.
• Perform final inspections to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed thoroughly.
• Ensure miscellaneous finishing touches are completed (i.e. wastebaskets are emptied and cleaned, place lost items in lost and found, spray air freshener, etc.)
• Performs end of shift procedures, including securing equipment and supplies.
• Assist in training and mentoring new and current detailing team members.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and reports needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Physically demanding position, and on your feet constantly. Must have the ability to open bus bay doors and use pressure washer. Will be working in wet, and hot and cold conditions in maintenance shop environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Proven leadership abilities with experience in overseeing a team.
• Reliable transportation and regular attendance (must be available for assigned shifts).
• Ability to use power wash machine and use repetitive motion with machine and wash brushes, squeegees, etc.
• Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
• Mechanical knowledge is helpful.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to pay attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work with various cleaning soaps and chemicals.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record, allowing them to be covered on the company's vehicle insurance policy.
• Able to work in a team, as well as individually.

Required Experience:

• One year of cleaning experience.
• One year experience leading a team is preferred.
